July 18th 2008: Recently some serious requests for support to our local authorities to get some of our work printed, got flunked. The people at our provincial commission couldn’t really see what we were up to (can we?). Some conservative mongrels at the Vlaams Fonds voor de Letteren think anybody publishing on the internet over 25 must be really lousy authors, unthrustworthy and utterly expendable.
Welcome, all ye outstanding international authors contributing to this small venue, to our lovely country where any decent author turns surrealist by sheer adaptive necessity before she reaches the age of pen-clutching capability!
